Standardised Online Depression & Anxiety Tests

Important Note

All tests provide scored results. These results are in no way psychological diagnoses. The scores are indicators only. If the results of the tests cause the user concern, please contact Dr Andrew Campbell for further discussion of your test scores, or speak to your general medical practitioner or psychologist.

All testing is anonymous and in no way are test scores shared with the general public or scientific community. Details of access to the tests provided on Psyberspace are sent to Dr Andrew Campbell via email for quality control purposes. In no way are anonymous test scores used for research, teaching or publication purposes.

Please read each statement and select a number 0, 1, 2 or 3 which indicates how much the statement applied to you over the past week. There are no right or wrong answers. Do not spend too much time on any statement.


The rating scale is as follows:

0 = Did not apply to me at all

1 = Applied to me to some degree, or some of the time

2 = Applied to me a considerable degree, or a good part of the time

1. I found it very hard to wind down

19. I was aware of the action of my heart in the absence of physical
      exertion (e.g. sense of heart rate increase, heart missing a beat)
20. I felt scared without any good reason
21. I felt that life was meaningless
